    Army National Guard soldiers in 13 states are receiving assistance from Cherokee Nation Healthcare Services to help ensure soldiers are physically fit for deployment.

    The Cherokee Nation Businesses division was awarded contracts spanning one to five years, totaling more than $24 million, to provide medical and dental case management services to the Army National Guard.

    CNHS’s case management personnel work with doctors on bases providing clinical tracking and oversight of all aspects of soldier medical, dental and behavioral health challenges. CNHS employees compile medical information and help with the referral process when needed.

    CNHS improves patient care for US troops through teleradiology
    Cherokee Nation Healthcare Services has been awarded a four-year contract to provide teleradiology services for Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colo.

    CNHS provides after-hours radiology consultations seven days a week and 24-hour coverage on weekends and federal holidays. The company interprets film, CT scans, ultrasounds, MRIs and nuclear med studies. Diagnoses are provided within one hour, and final reports are transmitted to physicians within 24 hours.

    CNHS providing services to Performance Triad program
    Cherokee Nation Healthcare Services has been awarded a contract by Army Medicine to provide a complete suite of data analytics, address specific programmatic challenges and augment government resources as required for a pilot program to enhance soldier readiness.

    The pilot program, known as the Performance Triad, is focused on optimizing activity, nutrition and sleep (ANS) of the professional soldier. Performance Triad complements the Department of Defense's Operation Live Well, the Army's Ready & Resilient Campaign, known as R2C and the Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness Program.

    Army Medicine will implement the Performance Triad pilot program at three installations: Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; Fort Hood, Texas; and Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

    Cherokee Nation Healthcare Services is proud to announce its Federal Supply Schedule 621I for Professional & Allied Staffing Services.

    Through VA Federal Supply Schedule Contact RFP-797-FSS-00-0115-R3, authorized through the General Services Administration, CNHS will provide registered nurses (general and specialty), medical administrative, and certified registered nurse anesthetists to government agencies such as the VA and the Department of Defense.

    “This award is significant. Utilization of the VA FSS means the military has greater access to our healthcare services. Truly, this is a win-win for CNHS and the VA’s healthcare acquisition needs,” stated Guy Wolcott, President of CNHS.

    Geographic coverage under the VA FSS includes North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Colorado and Oklahoma.
